The Custom Action Wizard
Up until now we've only discussed adding gestures
to actions provided by criteria plugins - in other words, plugins
coded by someone to do a specific task. That's all well and good,
but what if your favourite application doesn't have a plugin yet?
Well, you could configure gestures for it in the
"All Applications" plugin, but that's messy and not what
we really want. You could also post a support and feature request
in the forum and we'd be happy to code a plugin for you, but maybe
you want to do this yourself right now.
What you want is to create your own applications
and actions in the "Available Actions" tree. Good, because
that's what the Custom Action Wizard is for :-)
The Wizard is your one stop shop to creating and
managing custom actions. With it you can define a new application
that should be enabled for gestures, what actions can be associated
with that application, and what should happen when a gesture is
made.
In other words, you can create your own plugins
without writing a single line of code! It's easy and fast, just
